Rutgers Community Christian Church (RCCC) is committed to the privacy and protection of the personal information of all its congregants, visitors, and coworkers. This privacy policy outlines how information is collected across its websites and domains. Every visitor to the RCCC websites is encouraged to review this policy to better understand how any personal information that's potentially provided is collected and used.
This Statement of Privacy applies to RCCC websites and Rutgers Community Christian Church (RCCC) and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Rutgers Community Christian Church includes RCCC websites. The RCCC websites are news and information sites. By using RCCC websites, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

We collect your information when you directly submit information to us or allow us to access information about you. We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information from publicly available sources.

We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to church announcements, various services and/or ministries etc.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by RCCC. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the RCCC websites.

Information We Collect
RCCC secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. RCCC uses following method for your browser to communicate with RCCC websites:
- TLS ProtocolWhen personal information is transmitted to RCCC managed websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol.
Your personal information is securely stored in a service provider we purchase. To keep your personal data safe, we put strong defenses in place and take appropriate security measures to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of your personal data. Only few RCCC office staffers and coworkers are authorized to access your personal information.
However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, or other communications will always remain secure. Users should also take care with how they handle and disclose their personal information and should avoid sending personal information through insecure e-mail or other internet communication programs.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
RCCC does not share its congregants, visitors, and coworkers to any third parties.
RCCC stores data in a service provider we purchase service from. It is a well-trusted service provider in the industry. The service provider is prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to RCCC, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
RCCC may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on RCCC or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of RCCC; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of RCCC, or the public.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
RCCC will make occasional updates to the policy to reflect any feedback received, material changes, and to comply with applicable regulatory updates. Changes will be reflected by date at top. If any material changes are made to the statement, RCCC will notify users by posting an announcement on RCCC website. We encourage you to periodically review this document to learn about your information in our church.
Data Subject Rights
Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:
- Delete your personal information from our records; and
- Direct the service provider to delete your personal information from their records.
If you would like to access, delete, or update any personal information, please submit a request to us by email privacy@rccc.org
A coworker will review your request and respond within ten business days
From time to time, RCCC may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.
