Children Worship

Our Mission

All children need to know God personally through faith in Jesus Christ, to learn to worship God joyfully and reverently, to grow in His grace and love, and to live with thankful and obedient hearts under the Divine guidance of His Spirit and His Word.

Our Schedule

For elementary age children, we offer two Children’s Worship Services every Sunday in Charis Chapel Fellowship Hall:

  • 9:15 am – 10:45 am for children Grade 4-6
  • 11:00 am – 12:15 pm for children Grade 1-3

Our Program

The Children Worship service is designed to convey a God-centered experience, consistent with our Children’s Ministry Values:Biblical, Educational, Applicable and Relational (B.E.A.R.). We focus on raising children’s awareness of God through age-appropriate Praise and Worship songs, prayers and offering time, listening to Gospel-based messages aided by interactive slides, video clips and object lessons, as well as through the reading and recitation of God’s Word.

Our Themes

The sermon topics follow the scheduled themes:

  • Week 1 & 2: Messages are related to the attributes of God and the 12 monthly church-wide themes (modeled after Daryl Dale’s 12 Children’s Spiritual Formation objectives):
Church Commitment, Scripture, Prayer, Salvation, Devotional Life, Worship, Christian Friendship, Christian Service, Outreach, Mission, Christian Character and Stewardship.
  • Week 3: Character Lessons adapted from the Character Sketches Book published by the Character Training Institute.
  • Week 4: Missions-related topics based on curriculum published by the Caleb Project and on real life stories of great missionaries

Our Partners

All parents are welcome and encouraged to join their children in the children’s worship services to share their worship experience at church and to model for them a worshipful and godly life style at home. (Romans 12:1-2)
