A warm welcome to RCCC B.E.A.R. Garden—an exciting place of growth. Every Sunday we wish for your child be nurtured with the word of God and the love of Jesus, having the best possible experience at  church. Our sincere prayer is to partner closely with you to “train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it” (Proverb 22:6).

May God help you and our B.E.A.R. Garden coworkers, together we can make a positive impact in your child’s life.

Peace and joy in the Lord,

Children’s Ministry Team

We call the Children Ministry at RCCC the B.E.A.R. Garden to reflect the four basic values and the visions we hold in serving the children God has entrusted to us. Parents and teachers partner together to nurture the young lives as gardeners cultivate the garden until it blossoms with beautiful flowers and bears much fruit to the glory of our God. We realize that some have planted the seeds and some have watered it, but God made it grow (1 Cor. 3:6). We also trust that at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we remain faithful (Gal 6:10).

Our Values:

  Biblical (2 Tim. 3:16, 17)
God's truth as revealed in the Bible is the foundation of our faith and action.

  Educational (Col 3:16)
Use creative/child-centered program and teachable moment, let God's word dwell richly.

  Applicable (James 1:22)
Apply God's teaching into the daily life, build godly character, make a positive impact.

  Relational (Eph 4:16)
Build trusting and obedient relationship with God, loving and nurturing relationship between parents/teachers and students, lasting friendship and fellowship among students, collaborative partnership between parents and teachers.

2 Timothy 3:16, 17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

James 1:22
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Ephesians 4:16
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
